Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Department of School Education and Literacy, Govt. of India invites applications for the recruitment of 47 Principal Vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply within 30 days of the publication of the advertisement and 10 days additional time for candidates in remote areas. 1. General: 19 Posts
2. SC: 06 Posts
3. ST: 14 Posts
4. OBC: 08 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 35 years to 45 years as on 30-06-2014 i.e the Candidates must have been born not earlier than 30-06-1969 and not later than 30-06-1979. Age Relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Govt servants/ PH candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Master’s Degree from the recognized University with at least 50% marks, B.Ed. or equivalent teaching degree.

Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on exam & interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.1000/- through Demand Draft in favour of DDO, NVS, Hqrs. Account, payable at NOIDA (UP) and no fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women and Ex-Servicemen candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed format along with self attested photocopies of certificates in proof of age, qualifications, experience, pay scale and category, by superscribing the envelope as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF PRINCIPAL” and send to The Assistant Commissioner (Estt.III), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Hqrs, B-15, Institutional Area, Sector-62, Nioda, Dist Gautam Budha Nagar -201307 within 30 days of the publication of the advertisement and 10 days additional time for candidates in remote areas.
