Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should be 28 years as on 20-01-2016. Age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ ST/ OBC/ women as per GoI rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Master degree in Zoology/ Life Sciences with Zoology for Post 1, Ph.D or equivalent degree in Zoology/ Life Sciences for Post 2.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.400/- for general candidates, Rs. 200/- for OBC candidates and Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ PH candidates drawn in favour of the Accounts Officer, Pay and Accounts Officer(BSI/ZSI), 234/4, A.J.C. Bose Road, Nizam Palace Complex, Kolkata-20.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may submit their duly filled-in applications with attested true copies of testimonials of educational qualifications, research experience, proof for date of birth etc., along with copies of mark sheets of all examinations in an envelope super scripted as “Application for the post of JRF” for Post 1 & “Application for the post of Post Doctoral Fellow” for Post 2 to The Director, Zoological Survey of India, M-Block, New Alipore, Kolkata by Speed Post/ Registered Post on or before 17-01-2016.
